This privacy policy is short! It won’t take very long, and you don’t need your lawyer to explain it.
Cookies
There are no advertising tracking pixels here. No Google, Facebook, LinkedIn or Twitter. No advertising of any kind. I load fonts locally instead of from any Google Service. As a result, no-one is placing cookies.
Contact & Comments
If you respond to one of my posts, I ask for your name and e-mail address. They help me moderate the comments. Except for your name, your contact details aren’t visible to other visitors.
When you contact me, I ask for essential information used to contact you. If you don’t want me to keep it, let me know, and I’ll gladly remove it.
Analytics
I work with WordPress’ post analytics. They show me what posts and images are popular. They don’t collect or store any personal data.
You can like a post. I use that information to bask in the glory of being able to have helped someone. I don’t know who liked it, and that’s fine by me.
I load a few scripts, images and other media from WordPress‘ servers. It helps speed up the site. They don’t use that data to identify you.
My website sends and receives encrypted data by default.
I try to make sure that your visit here happens free from any trackers. If I did forget one of them: Let me know, and I’ll remove it because I mean it when I say that your privacy is important to me.
I believe our industry can change for the better without having eyes and ears everywhere. We don’t have any right to the data we often collect, and I’m trying to prove we don’t need it.
